    hi all

im overseas for a few months and only have an ipad.

i was just wondering if i sign up to broadband and buy a cheap modem/router can i connect it with just the ipad?

or do i need a laptop or pc to establish the connection and configure the router and then set up the wifi?

    any help is greatly appreciated

    Nobody?

Was that a particularly retarded question or am I in the wrong forum?

    Any help would be great.

Most wifi routers have wireless on by default (with no security), so yes, it's most likely possible. But be prepared, when you add security you'd get kicked instantly and have to reconnect with the security key
