    VERY VERY VERY HIGH!!!!

My lad jumped clean over 6 ft fencing i put up every feckin day then over the side gate, had my head wrecked:mad: i got 7.5 ft fencing like you see on building sites, it took him 2 days to figure it out and he climbed it and was out again. in the end i gave up on the run and put in a 12ft side gate so he now has the garden as a run.

If i ever build another one im puttin a roof on it!

This is the one I have for my Vizsla an Golden Retriever.
    3.5m deep,7m long and about 2.5m high.
No problems with them climbing out yet.
If you are putting a roof on the run, make sure it is taller than you are, otherwise it will break your back every time you have to clean it.

Put a strand of electric wire along the top of it for the dogs own good. A 6 feet run is high enough for anything.
Will fix him very quickly. The higher you make it the odds go up the dog will hurt himself & a roof is expensive.
Have seen wire work without fail at least a dozen times

The most important thing with pointers is they get out for a run every day be it only for 10 or 15 minutes twice or 3 times a day during the day and a good run on the weekends. Mine are in 2 pens 16ft x 12ft each with a 6ft fence and never had any problems!
