Not a huge issue but would be interested in getting some outside perspectives
Have a friends with benefits type thing going on with a guy at the moment, both mid 20's,the problem is, he doesn't seem to get much from oral sex, it just doesn't seem to make him cum. I'm worried maybe it's me, even though he's told me it's not, and i've never had a problem making guys cum before. I've never gotten much from oral either if i'm honest, i'd much rather other things so i don't encourage him to go down on me either.

It's gotten to the point where there's no oral involved at all.... the sex is really great, but....is this a bit strange?

Are there guys who really don't get anything from blowjobs? or am i just bad at them?

never met any tbh, but if you both prefer other things then whats the problem? You say you dont get much from it, so why dont you believe him when he says the same? (Maybe he thinks he is rubbish at it because you dont like it too!)

Wouldn't worry about it. Don't come easy from it either. And tbh i'm glad of it, i do get something from it, but it's more of a prequel thing if you get my drift. If a girl goes hell for leather it can be done, which is nice sometimes but i wouldn't expect her to put in that sort of a shift all the time.

I find it's always nice to get it offered even though it doesn't usually finish that way. It feels nice when a girl wants to take care of you, whether that's by making you a meal or your sexual needs or any other way it always feels nice that they want to care for you. Also sometimes when you are together alot overa long weekend or whatever penetration may become sore after multiple rounds it's nice to have something else in the repetoire - for both him & her.

It really depends on the guy. With one guy it took me a very long time to make him cum from oral, and even then it involved a bit of hand work too. Now with my current boyfriend I literally only need to go down on him for a minute or two and he comes. Both guys had the same amount of experience with women, and lol, I don't think I improved that much from one to the next -- it's just about personally preference

I wouldn't be worrying to much about it tbh OP, I usually don't cum from oral sex either. Of course I enjoy it, and I doubt there are many guys around who dont, but some guys just need different sensations in order to climax! Maybe he could give you some ideas on how to improve, and you give him some ideas seen as you say you don't particulary (sp!!) get much from oral either! Surely its better (and more fun) to practise with each other rather then cut it out completly!!! Unless your literally chewing on his penis then there really is no such thing as a bad blowjob :P

Different guys have different preferences etc. And some guys will come more easily than others, but there is still a world of difference between a good and bad blowjob.

Why not give her some input then? I think Alan is reassuring her not to stress about it because even though her boyfriend doesn't come, he probably still enjoys it.

I think you were right to ask him about it OP. Not a lot of people do. If he says it's nothing to do with what you're doing, don't worry about it. You said everything else is good so enjoy it and don't stress.

Every guy is different.

I think my body seems to "hold out" for full penetrative sex so oral, although much appreciated (:D) very rarely causes me to ejaculate.

Also a lot can depend on external factors i.e. alcohol consumed, fatigue. A lot of guys can reach a level of alcohol consumption where an erection can be achieved but ejaculation is very difficult.

This and the other responses should assure you a bit hopefully.

It's pretty difficult for me to cum with a BJ (Only one girl out of a lot has but she made it her personal mission a matter of honour) that doesn't mean I don't really enjoy them though, they are a completely different feeling to sex or a ****, one we can't recreate ourselves, so he's not lying when he says it's not you.
