I would miss teabags. They will become a finite resource when the zombies are out in force.

We could still have electrics, generators aren't that hard to set up. We would have the technology we have now, but all that could be at the end of it's life expectancy after 10 years.

All the food we're used to eating now would be gone, chocolate, coffee, a lot of the fruits we eat, rice, wine.

What would you run it on? And how would you get both the generators and their fuel?

peddle power, bicycle powered motors :)

There's a few old mills around that you could stick a generator on. All you need to do is spin a crank, many still work by simply burning things.

You can't imagine how bad your life would be without electricity, you'd find a way to get it back if your in a group and you'll have all the time in the world to do it.

I'd miss febrezze. Especially when surrounded by millions of rotting corpses

i have some negatives and some positives

swedish snus....hand made by jesus, packed by the virgin mary and sent to me via swedish post...at least it was till some dick in finland and the eu stuck their fecken noses in and stopped it all.

internet...altho in ireland most of us probably wont notice the speed drop

new movies: i love my sci fi and well done movies. its a finite resource now

positive effect: no more versions of star wars, finally lucas will have to stop repackaging the same movies

will never get to mars or the moon, which is unlikely anyways (only 60's children expected that so sorry of you were younger). we were expecting to be living on the moon now.

no more fast food/pizza/chinese/indian take away. yeah yeah go all bs healthy on me, but when its gone you will miss it. well i will at least

cinema, a real one....no way am i going into a darkened cinema with popcorn. thats asking for a bite. will never get 11.2 surround sound in a house

walking around a living city: wont be doing that for a while

a version of MS windows that will work...we will never know

positive; an end to the iphone vs android debate since they wont exist, all will have been eaten while arguing

positive: liberals, since most of them would have tried to 'understand' the zombies, i wont have to listen to their sh1t anymore

positive: final sane response to guns in ireland is answered

positive: college students and student angst and free education marches.

    positive: no politicians

positive: no civil service and taxes

positive: wont have to listen anymore to some muppet in the EU and really wont care at all about fractional reserve banking and derivatives

positives: acceptance that 4x4 drive in a 6.5l turbo charged engine was a great idea and it didnt destroy the world

positive: vegetarianism is only really nice when you have meat with it

positive: will finally get the time and actually care to find out what a lentil is

unknowns: how did all the hotties in hollywood fare: did jennifer aniston make it or did angelina? did cheryl cole make it? did the playboy ranch make it? is heff still walking around in his smoking jacket with a whole host of ageing bunnies?

unknowns: did all the mormons make it due to their food storage and gun strategies?

    positive: no more boy bands

negative: no more implied pornographic girl bands

and finally...i will miss flushing toilets and toilet paper and a new newspaper and now that i think about it --soap.

Speaking of generators , I wonder could you run one on homemade moonshine/poitin...Anyone know? I guess you wouldn't be able to produce on a scale that would be practical.

and now that i think about it --soap.

Soap can be made from decomposing body fats and white wood ash...sorted!

I once had one run on pure methylated spirit. You would have to modify the carburettor to put more fuel in and you might need to pre-heat the fuel or the cylinder block before it will run on that kind of stuff

You'll need very high purity alcohol and try to get most of the water out, engines don't like water.
