Hi Can anyone recommend a good garage/mechanic in Cork city.

My car makes a grinding noise when driven for about 20 miles or so. It worsens when slowing down. I have taken it to two garages who can find nothing wrong

I need to get it sorted

Mm it isnt in Cork City a little out but they are great..Cooneys garage in Coachford..I have gone through loadsa mechanics and they are the only decent one honest and trustworthy...I would stay well away from RPM motors (Richard Pledger) totall ass and the chap down by the lough.

I'd go for John Coughlan out on Togher Road...Across from the Credit Union...(Not open mondays).

Or Mick Kelly on Pouladuff Road, across from the Harp Bar.
