    i got an asus eee pc 900 running latest ubuntu (11.10)
    pc output vga
    3.5mm jack

    tv inputs svideo and red white and yellow

    So You can connect via s-video if You have in Your telly or via red-white-yellow cable (old CRT's TVs)

    it's ok i ran a vga cable up the telly which i thought i couldn't do as it was mounted on the wall and i wasent sure there was a vga port on the tv
