Delays on 2012 Cube Models

Has anyone else had issues getting hold of 2012 Cube models? I ordered my Cube MTB back in August and was told it would be a few weeks but not to worry as they could get a pre release version (they had one in store that I tried out).
Once I got my B2W voucher in Sep I contacted the store and was told great we'll fast track the order. I then heard nothing, so just over a week back I emailed the store (work night shifts and most stores dont open at night!) asking if they are having difficulty and threatened to withdraw on the sale. They apologised profusely and said itd be in within the week as they had a
Cube shipment coming in.

Ive heard nothing yet and tbh I wasnt in a rush but now Im getting fed up waiting. Im ready to pull the order and try another Cube supplier but if they cant get supply in theres no real point (maybe price wise it might be better?)

So is this a Cube distribution issue on 2012 models or am I being strung along by the store?

I have to say, there is not a chance i'd wait that long for a bike to come in, anything more than a week and i'd pull the plug, if they say they will have my order in by a date and they don't i'd would not give second them chance..

I got my 2012 mtb back in august, they had it in about 8 days after i ordered it... Spokes in waterford

I'd go somewhere else... but they've probably spent your money already...

They havent got my money yet, its a voucher that they will not be getting from me.

Any other Cube dealers in Ireland around Dublin/Kildare, I know CSS are one so will contact them first.

Are the vouchers specific to the particular shop? Sounds like it might be difficult to change shops, particularly if you need to cancel that voucher and resubmit another quote.

My understanding is that 2012 Cube bikes have been delayed to all of the retailers in Ireland so If you're keen to get a Cube I would check and see if anyone else actually has one! Not much point moving to another retailer if they haven't got a bike either!

friend of mine ordered his cube ltd pro 2012 end of august had it mid september , so not sure what the story is with delays.

From what I have heard they are delayed until January/February all over Europe. Even CRC which claimed it would have stock this week have pushed back deliveries to mid December, but considering no one else can get them I doubt they will either.

Could you settle for a similar 2011 or 2010 model? Possibly get a good discount?

What model of MTB are you waiting for OP? If you let me know what you have ordered I could tell you if its availabe yet.

Plenty of them already in stock in stores, most of them are pre ordered . That way you get the stock early .

Should have my bike by Friday. Apparently shipped from Germany on Friday evening, so a 3/4 day delivery time.

I just wish shops were honest.

Yes I’ve also have an order for a AMS 100 Super HPC Race 2012 sins November 2011 and as yet No Bike, also after many e mails to Cube GB, Cube Germany and Cube Netherlands have not had a single reply.

What size did you order ? They only size that is sold out is the 16" . All other sizes are in stock with CUBE.

The bike has finally arrived in the UK and yes it is size 16, have just paid and expecting delivery soon.
