Will hatchback seats fit into saloon - Avensis

Hi folks was chattin to a fellow who works in a breakers yard recently and he says he has a nice set of leather seats in near perfect condition to suit a hatchback 2005 avensis. My car is a 2006 facelift saloon avensis, does anyone know will these seats fit into my car, they are electric unlike my own.. any help is appreciated!..

Yep they will fit no bother but the floor loom is not there for the electric function,

so the seats wouldn't be adjustable then?. is it possible to fit an extra 2 looms somehow?. connecting the airbags may be a hastle as well?...

Could there be an issue with the back seats, don't think the saloon seats fold back.

I'd say rear seats are different but the covers could be fitted to your existing rear seat

no my saloon seats dont fold back, i used to the 5 door hatch model and im not sure if those seats folded however, but basically there will be issues with front wiring loom and more than likely rear seats folding so mayb its best to steer clear of the leather seats until i can find ones from a saloon.. thanks all!

Top UK spec models had electric adjustable front seats afaik.

thats true, the rear seatbacks fold down but the seat squab doesnt fold out of the floor and i think the hatchback squabs do lift up and they're divided into 2 and 1...
