    Hi guys,

Bit if a random one, long story short a girl in a horse rode into my car (it was parke) and broke windscreen, drivers and passengers windows.

She was daughter if the stable owner and I'm meeting him tomorrow.

I know he or she is liable but I have a feeling they are not gonna pay up.

Can anybody point me to the relevant laws and any recourse I might have if they don't pay.

    Thanks

    Criminal Damage!?!
    Did you inform the Gardai?
If not it would be my first port of call.

Well, if the girl's father won't pay up you are going to have to report it.
It wasn't your fault, don't let sympathy for the girl affect how you handle this situation.

Did the horse try and jump the car? How did it break windscreen and both front windows, was it damage to both A pillars?
