    If I buy a laptop with a normal HHD can I then go and buy a SSD and use both
    drives in the laptop? Or wont there be enough room! Prob a stupid Q but i need to know lol

    No. In most cases this will not be possible. Some laptops have 2 hard drive bays, but most do not. Only large laptops 17" plus in size would have this.

    Check if the laptop has two Hard Drive bays and if Hard Drive caddys are available for it.

    If you don't use it much, it's also possible to replace the CD/DVD drive with a harddrive, but you would need to buy a caddy URL="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eQuJrswnJ5g"]link[/URL.
