Remote Control Helicopter

Hi All,

Could someone advise where I can go for a decent remote control helicopter for a teenager. Looking for something that is not a toy but more hobby type equipment.
Any suggestions welcome.

for my young lad, loves it

however if you look at the other ones, they are more your thing i think, you can buy all the parts from that site and build one yourself. like a hobby

loads to choose from and very cheap. however might take up to a month to deliver with free delivery or spend a little more and get DHL or Fedex delivery in 5-7 days

try boyztoyz on the old airport road, dublin. bought a r/c helichopper in there 2 years ago, was very good quality, good selection to, prices were reasonable.

There used to be a good hobby shop on Capel Street that sold all sorts of radio controlled cars and the like. I'm sure they have helicopters as well. Won't be cheap.

The heli's posted above arent really great "hobby" starters, there more so toys, none the less if you get one of them make sure it is at least 3channel and has a gyro. They are great craic for messing around the house and even young kids can easily fly them but there chalk and cheese between the type below.
