    Hi,
    im new here and not from a farming background. however i have had some experience in handling animals.
    im looking to getting into breeding and will be renting land next year.
    i have an interest in rare breeds like Belted galloway, white parks, lincoln reds, glousters. does anyone here have an knowledge of these breeds, things like A.I. availibility, fertility, and killout % also any faults/problems with these breeds.
    my intention is to get dairy High Scc cows and implant embryos. whay do ye think.
    it will only a hobby for a few years then i may purchase land later if i enjoy doing it.

    i would suggest simmentals,we have them,quite a good breed and are the most profitable suckler breed supposidly
