I understand that as a resident of a parish I have the right to be buried in the parish graveyard - but what are the laws concerning being buried on private land? Anyone got a clue?

There was a high profile case some years ago ( in Kerry I think ) where a family wanted to bury their daughter on their land , IIRC the family lost their case.
