What kind of projects do software development students do in 3rd and 4th year?

A few examples would be great.

    Thanks in advance! :D

    Thanks a lot,

Just wanted to see what level I'll need to be at when I get there. Are they team projects?

there's some that look interesting... some that look slightly more complicated than what we'd be doing now! :D

    Cheers!

I see you created the Balance checker for Android, well keep at that and you will be right on track, if not ahead.

No they are solo projects mostly, there are some team projects, teams of 2. you get to pick a top 5 and you will most likely get one of your choices.

They all kinda have something going for them, its all down to personal choice, ones I thought sounded crazy were other peoples favourites.

One thing I will say is to get used to doing good documents..research report, functional spec, design, etc.. A lot of marks go on the documentation.

Fantastic... One thing I love is documents

I'm just looking forward to learning how to make cool programs. Slightly more sophisticated than Java command line programs

I may get cracking at the functional spec I have due for next week!! :(

    Thanks again zeuss... Very helpful!

Sorry, didnt mean to scare you. :D

I wouldn't worry too much, they may look a little scary now but by the time 3rd year comes around they won't look anywhere near as bad.

Can you clarify what you mean by 21 weeks is no joke?

Due to Internship or Project in third year, you only have 21 weeks in Collehe then Internship or Project. This means Final year exam is in Feburary and assesements ever 2 weeks or so. The year is very tough.
