Lift filter on david brown

    Have a david brown and the lift has started to give a bit of bother , was told the lift filter might need changing .Where is this located does anybody know ?

    On our DB 995 it's in the bowl that's right under the tractor, right under the drivers seat. Remember to get a gasket for the bowel. In fact get two, if it's an old tractor, it might leak with the one.
    Change the oil while you're at it too. It probably wasn't changed in a long time, as in over 5 years.

    It will look like this;

    There's a wire mesh that looks like this. It goes on over the filter. Just take that off and clean it in diesel. No need to change this, just clean it and put back in.

    Its a 1390 snowman.Thanks for the replys will have a look for the filter and see is that the problem
