Egypt- Hotels in Sharm El Sheik?

    Hi all,

We're getting married just before Xmas and STILL no honeymoon booked! We can only go away for 7-10 days so Egypt has been recommended and we're just now trying to decide between different hotels in Sharm El Sheik. We just want to relax, go diving and eat and drink! We are not fussy eaters, we love to try new things so probably won't go all-inclusive as we'd like to try out different local restaurants.

Has anyone got any feedback on these 3 hotels for me:

    Hyatt Regency?
    Ritz Carlton?
    Savoy?

All are 5 star, but the Savoy is working out a lot cheaper at the moment...

I have stayed in the Hyatt. It's really lovely. The Ritz doesn't get as good reviews, only ranked 75th on Tripadvisor. I haven't heard of the Savoy.

The Hyatt has a beautiful coral reef on the premises, other boats come to their reef to dive.

The premises is beautiful. The food is nice but quite expensive. The service is amazing too. I would highly recommend going. Falcon do it as part of a package.

Just back from the Reef Oasis Blue Bay resort in Sharm and it was excellent. Very reasonable all inclusive hotel with amazing coral reef on the beach. There are 6 restaurants - some buffet, some a la carte but free and one paid a la carte. Also 10 bars on site with beer, wine, cocktails, soft drinks all included in the room price. Definitely recommend it for a week away
