Electrolux Fridge Freezer Broken - Need Help

    Hi,

I have an Electrolux Fridge Freezer (Insight Drinks Express Model) which is only 4 years old. The freezer has stopped working but the fridge is working ok.

I'm wondering if anyone has experienced the same problem with the same type of fridge freezer?

I'm not sure if it can be fixed or does the whole thing have to be replaced?

Any insight would be great!

    Thanks in advance.

Have you ever cleaned the air vents at the back/side as the fan can get blocked. un plug give it a hoover, leave it off for an hour or 2 and turn it back on, might kick back in.

My model is a Samsung and if you pull out the 2 lower baskets there is what looks like a intestine like water piping this sometimes freezes up. seen an engineer use a hair dryer on it to speed up the defrost.
If none of this works My guess is that the gas might have leaked out and needs filling, not cheap:( call the fridge doctor, hopefully someone more informed than me will come on soon.

Once unplugged, if there is a panel at the back that can be unscrewed (usually 6/8 small lads) you will be able to gently hoover around the internals a bit, i do it every month or 2.
