Instead of saying "Nothing!!!!" you could just give it a bump.

Posting at 2 o clock on a friday afternoon is not this boards hot spot.

Anywho! The 2litre tdi had a few teething problems, I'm sure someone here will help you out. Don't know much about them to be honest.

    Jee, I dunno.

    Alternatives to the Passat?

Ford Mondeo, Skoda Superb, Renault Laguna, Mazda 6, Audi A4/A6, BMW 5 Series, Toyota Avensis.

Are you driving long distance each week? Is a diesel justified?

You can grab a car with similar mileage for a few grand less than that if you double the tax.

Are you sure you don't want all wheel drive for the winter? It could get icy.

Have you considered Jeeps of any sort?

Are you looking for high spec or a runabout?

Will you be using this as a driving car or just to commute?

I would also recommend the Jaguar X-Type.
