Love Actually, censored version?

Does anyone know if its possible to get a censored version of Love Actually, without the pornstars storyline?

My daughter really wants to watch this movie this christmas, and i think she would love it, but the reason i wont let her is because i think those scenes are still inappropriate for her. She's 14, and i know its rated 15,but she is a young 14 and still in the 'mortified by boobs on telly' stage.

I watched a censored version of it on a flight from the middle east a few years ago, and to be honest, i didnt even miss that storyline, it didnt take away from the movie at all. Makes me wonder why they put it in at all.

Anyone know if its available to buy or....ahem, borrow online?

I'm afraid I've no idea where you'd get censored copies of films, I'm not sure if they'd be for sale as such to the general public would they? given they're a modified version of the release.

You should go over to the IMDb forums and ask there. Wasn't there outrage a few years back amongst filmmakers at some Christian group who were editing films for their flock? Maybe you could contact them. Your other option is to download the film and use a video editor to get rid of the offending sections yourself. I don't know how deeply embedded into the film the storyline is though. It might be as simple as just cutting out the scenes?

Would you be able to let me know how you get on? I'm kind of interested now after doing a bit of googling. Apparently there's a TV version which would be perfect but I can't find it for sale or anything else though. Please post back on whether you've been successful (if it's anything dodgy you might PM me?).

Not much help, and stating the obvious, but keep an eye on the tv guides. I would imagine it'll be on once or twice or threece!

Its on sky movies on wednesday and friday, presumably the unedited version (its still 15s).

From what i can gather its only the asian version and US version(or tv i think) that are censored.

I cant remember if RTE show an edited version of it, or if its the 15's one. I will sky+ it anyway and see.

Cant find anything on the, ahem, borrowed ones, id say they are all the originals.

I'll update if i happen to come across one.

Yeah, they're the 'sex scene' body doubles.
I love how shy the male character is about asking the girl out, after being so 'intimate' with her already so to speak!

Ha, we're only nit-picking that they're not starring in an actual porn film, just a movie that has a few sex scenes! Although maybe they do that too!
