iTunes Friday is back 3 free songs free from O2 treats

After the success of iTunes Friday’s last year we decided to treat you once again to the music you love.
From Friday the 11th November to 16th December, we’re giving you the chance to pick 3 free songs on iTunes every Friday.
It couldn't be easier to download your songs; Every Friday log onto O2 Treats, and follow the simple instructions to redeem your 3 free songs and they’ll be added to your account. Remember to use a computer or smartphone that has iTunes installed. You can pick your songs there and then or you have until the 31st December to download them.

This is one of the best treats on O2. And you can register your kids/parents O2 numbers and earn credits on their numbers too

Yeah I think you can build them up. You need to credit your account every Friday early (last year they sold out of the treats fairly early each Friday) I think you need to use them up by the 31st of December.

Yes, you can build them up and use them when you want up to Dec 31st. Nice way of getting whole albums instead of just a few singles of one.

Does anyone know if I have to download songs individually or whether I can click 'Buy album' and get all 12 songs? I'd rather not be charged for an album I'm never going to listen to.:)

i clicked on the original link in this thread and went to my account where I had 3 credits, do they not build up if you have not used them?

Ya they do build up but on occasion I can only access the credits on the Friday when the treat is received. I still have some credits left from previous Friday's.

Anyone get the text from O2 about the 12 days of Christmas? If you respond they let you d/load soundhound for free. Have no idea if its always free or not!

i didnt use any last friday, didnt redeem. does this mean im unable to download more than 3 songs today?

It is free. The same treat come from o2/Itunes last year. Gifts vary from apps/songs/videos.

Today's treat is the app Soundhound, similar to the Shazam app.

You may have missed out on the free song credits today but you should use the remaining credits you have today (they are still valid) before the treat expires today.

You have to download the songs individually. If you click buy album you'll be charged for the whole album. However, if you get several of the songs off the album using the free credits you'll be able to buy the rest of the album at a reduced price.
