    Anyone have recommendations for books/resources for this? Second year Business & Economics student, don't find the lecturer at all useful and the book(Varian) is a bit too theoretical for how I learn(by example).

    Suggestions please?

    In NUIM we've been using;

    Pindyck, Robert S. and Rubinfeld, Daniel L., 2005, Microeconomics, 7th edition, London: Prentice-Hall

    Generally I find if you go to the college library and look in the "microeconomics" section there will be 2 or 3 different textbooks which all cover the same material. When I'm studying I usually sit with 2 in front of me and flick between them depending on which is more useful.
