Neighbourhood watch.

I was wondering if some sort of a poaching neighbourhood watch scheme would be a bit of an idea.

From being around here and reading posts I know there's one lad in Louth and one in Westmeath on this site who hunts deer. I'm in the middle between them. It shouldn't be that impossible to meet up a couple of times every month to have a night time tour of our permissions (safety in numbers and all that).

I'm in no way suggesting vigilante style nonsense but just some visibilty and being seen about the place can be enough of a disincentive to poachers.
