    Hi,

I'm looking for highly insulating lining, to keep cold out and heat in (house has no central heating and large windows) but I'm not sure, when looking online, whether 'thermal' or 'heavy' is best. With heavy, you can at least measure the weight of the fabrics to compare but how do you 'judge' when lining is 'thermal'? It's not as heavy or thick as the natural fabric that goes on weight so I just can't tell what quality the material is.

(I am in the process of having curtain makers over - fabulous, all in one service but waayy out of my budget so am thinking of getting a local dressmaker to make curtains up if I do the leg work of pricing and buying material...)

Or you could just buy two pairs and alternate the "hangers" so both move together when opening/closing, but essentially, you get the warmth of two sets.
