Best Saorview options?

    Hi
I have some questions regarding my options in setting up saorview with my existing set up. My set up is as follows:
TV1: Terrestrial aerial on masthead amp going straight into aerial in on my old Pace Sky box. I also have a satellite signal going into the ‘sat in’ on the sky box. RF1 brings both signals (Terrestrial & FTA) out from the box and I have this connected to my DVD Hard drive recorder. The coax out of this then goes directly to my TV. I then have a scart going from recorder to my sky box, and from there to my TV. This allows me to use the menus etc.
TV2: Simply RF2 on my skybox is routed back up and down into another room where it is connected straight to the TV. I have a magic eye set up here which allows me to control sky box from another room.
I really like this set up as I can record all the terrestrial and FTA to air channels on my recorder. I can only watch these on second the TV but that’s all I want at the moment. I also like the 7 day EPG, series link and autostart that the sky box offers for the FTA.
I am wondering what I will need to do without changing my current set up drastically!
I have heard that a saorview box does not support magic eye, so my thoughts for the future, if the job front improves, in relation to the second TV is to use a Combo box where I can get Digital Terrestrial TV, FTA, and also be able to record all these. But that’s for another day.
My question relates to the TV1 setup.
Can anyone advise how I would incorporate a very basic saorview box into the setup I have for TV1? I would like to be able to record the saorview channels on my hard drive recorder I currently have.
I suppose I am trying to get the saorview set up, without costing an arm and a leg and without making the equipment I already have obsolete!

Or, would I be just better off and wait a year, then dump all my old stuff and get a combo box that is able to handle both FTA & DTT and also record both? BTY would I need two of these boxes or has the combo box the ability to be controlled from another room via a magic eye? Sounds a lot messier but a tad expensive at the minute.
    Thanks for the help.
