Satellitetv.ie - are they taking orders/doing installations at the moment?

    Hi folks!

Figured if anyone might know, it'd be you guys. I sent a mail to satellitetv.ie on the 18th of October and got a reply in minutes - very impressed! I was looking for a 'multi-room, multi-sat' install (Astra 1, 2 and Hotbird), as well as an antenna for Saorview with two feeds - Steve was brilliant and very informative in his reply - I was well impressed.

Anyhow, the only stumbling block was we'd not got the keys to our new house at the time (expecting them the 28th of October), but we'd lined up a provisional install for the 2nd of November. As it turned out, the hand over of the new place was delayed by a week, so I asked Steve if we could push things out til the 9th of November, and he was fine with that.

Closer to the time (on the 4th), I got a reply saying they were booked out til the 29th of November. Fair enough, these things happen, and it's great to see that they have the business to warrant it. Trouble is, I asked for a firm date on or after the 29th of November, as I'll need to take the time off work, and so far, three e-mails, and nothing?

Is Steve okay? Is he on hols or does anyone know? Seems like a great guy, highly recommended too; I just want to firm it all up, you know?

A fair point! Too much in the internet/e-mail age, me!

I'll give them a bell now.

jaggiebunnet - I know it's obvious, but thanks for the suggestion! I tend to think of online stores as being just that; online only :)

Was just talking to Steve on the phone - an absolute gent - and we're sorted for the 30th of this month.

    Cheers!
