Call of duty ps2 older versions

    Hi Guys,
    I've recently come back to my dear old PS2.
    Its been a while.
    I used to play a good bit of medal of honour etc, and this time decided to try Call of Duty.
    Vastly superior I think, (I'm sure there have been arguments over the years, I'll leave ye to it!).
    Anyway,
    A lot of ye might not even remember back in the deep dark mists of time games like Call of Duty Finest Hour, (thats where I've started over the past while), a really really good game.
    I then skipped to Call of Duty 3, which was also very very good.
    I also bought Call of Duty 2 "Big Red One" but have a major problem with it.
    It might have been discussed here before, but the controller options on COD2 compared to finest hour and COD3 are not good at all.
    Maybe I'm missing something, but on COD3 I usually play with stick at "southpaw" and button controls at default. Theres a pretty much identical setting on "finest hour" but this is not possible on COD2 big red one. The stick controls are pretty much set on all 4 controller options and cant be changed.
    Please tell me I'm missing something????

    Call of Duty's dev team was formed from escapees from EA's Medal of Honour dev team and as soon as the very good MoH games for the PS were done and dusted the series has been consistently been outstripped by the CoD titles, none of them on the PS2 have come close, Frontlines and Rising Sun were pants.
    Only the PC output was goos but there was even more competition on that format from CoD and the Battlefield series, the latter owning the early 00's.

    Not sure about your control issues, it has been a while since I played any of those games from that gen at all.
