Just wondering what the community is like in the Republic for Malifaux/Puppet Wars.

I can see we have a couple of henchmen in Cork, do we have events going on next year?

Malifaux seems to be the more popular of the two, I've only heard of Puppet War recently actually.

I think there's something going on with Malifaux at some point alright, try Wargaming Ireland for more info.

I'm buys painting up puppetwars and I'll be roping people in to play games once I get some progress.

For the most part Malifaux is a 2nd game for people and kind of suffers little sister syndrome when 40K and Warmahordes is around.

I think the lads are trying to pull something together for Warpcon at the end of Jan

Hi there, I'm Michael Foreman, one of the Cork Henchmen.

With regards events in the next year - I can say that there will definitely be an event at warpcon, although whether it will be organised by myself or Merlin is still up in the air.

If you are interested in trying out Malifaux, or have it and are looking for opponents, feel free to contact me. my email is tograth@gmail.com. I can be contacted via here and the wyrd boards using the same username.

If you or anyone else is interested, I have been running fortnightly demos at WARPS up in UCC (thursdays from 6.30, L1 in the electrical engineering building), although pickup demos and games can be done pretty much any evening.

anyway, let me know, and we can sort something out. :D

    cheers

    Michael

I came across the cork henchman details on the Wyrd website last week and I've been meaning to get in contact. Only just starting out, would like to get a demo and a few games in the near future.

Do you have direction to the L1 building i've only just moved to Cork and would not know th UCC at all.

OK, to get to L1, you go up to UCC, and you are looking for the college road entrance. theres a security gate there. when you are looking onto campus at the security gate, L1 is on your left.

if you look at this map, the building is # 35.
