Aer Lingus Gold Circle points on "KLM" flights

Anyone know if you can, or how if you can, claim Aer Lingus GC points for an "KLM" codeshare flight operated by Aer Lingus

I'm going to be going to Israel to visit family on assignment there, but likely only once, so don't see signing up for other loyalty schemes as being worth the time.

Seeing as the cheapest route is often DUB-AMS-TLV on KLM, is it possible to get GC points for the leg on the Aer Lingus plane? Obviously I could book it as seperate flights but that'd involve rechecking baggage and leaving/re-entering passport control in AMS which is rather pointless with the layout there and not worth it for a few GC points...

EI's website isn't the clearest on these things, not helped by having a seperate, defunct, website for Gold Circle as well as the section on the current one!

If the flight has a KL number, then I wouldn't have thought you could get EI points, although travelling on EI hardware.

Right, time to figure out if its worth the hassle (and vague risk) of doing it as EI and KL seperately for 150 points each way, or not...
