iOS5 Wifi Itunes Sync

    I Cant get this to work! i've selceted sync over wifi in iTunes,and i've tried to select it on my 4S and the button in constantly just greyed out even when i have it plugged in to a power supply?

    any ideas?

    Do have any security software running on your computer? This might be blocking iTunes from communicating with your iPhone.

    i've allowed it through windows firewall! i have no other idea :/

    Uninstalled an old expired antivirus,rebooted mylaptop and bingo it works!...but only if its NOT plugged into a power supply?...i thought that was strange but anyway :)

    you have to have it physically attached the 1st time and it then sets it up

    And be careful if you later decide to connect it to USB again as it disrupts your settings. iTunes is asking me to set up as new phone or restore from backup. The backup is ages old as I use iCloud. Looks like I'll have to select new phone in iTunes but then use the phone to restore from iCloud backup and then reconnect to reset up wifi sync. Let's hope it doesn't mess it up

    I've no problem switiching beteen wifi sync and USB sync

    I don't bother with iCloud though

    Phew. iTunes kept dropping the wifi connection. So I plugged it in to my mac and clicked set up as new iPhone and now it is all fine. It did add back a load of apps that are in my library but not on my iPhone though. It's like it needed to restore its 'memory' of my device. Bizarre but luckily no wiping of data
