An awesome looking movie I happened upon earlier today. Think I'll be pre-ordering the DVD tonight!

I think this is a must see for all of us. Lots of big names involved in it too.

That trailer was a bit of a damp squib for me tbh. One hour doesn't sound like enough time to document their arcade gaming culture from the 70's until now. I'd much prefer to see the latest games in action rather than listen to journo's blab on. It gets a meh from me until I see a better trailer. :)

But.... Around a minute in a Japanese person says "shoo-ting g-em-u" in a very Japanese voice and some bloke later on is playing DoDonpachi!

Those mere seconds of footage secured my pre-order. The rest of the film could be about grilling fish for all I care!!!!! :o

Does a Japanese person say "Err...shoe-ting g-em-ooh" at all in these videos? If so, I'm sold. :)

Dude, you really need to get to Japan.

Stop buying games for 2 weeks and you can go for a long weekend there, without the wife :p
If you get into the habit its just like popping over to London for the weekend :)

It really isnt that expensive, unless you're going on a mad shopping trip(which I know you are but after the first couple of trips you can just enjoy the place).
I love just going over and hanging out and checking new places out and I don't always buy loads of stuff when I'm there.

On a vaguely related note I'm just about to get stuck into a read(or a look really) of these:

Did you not pick up volume three? Cool that you sourced volume one as its gone up in value already at some online outlets.

Not sure when volume four will hit the shelves but I hope the series is published for a long time, even if we can't read any of it. :)

I don't have the physical mags, just the digital versions.
