Loudest portable Dock/Speakers for Ipod

I have an ipod nano 6G and need a portable dock or speakers for it.
It will be used to teach an aqua aerobics class so needs to be pretty loud. Mains powered is no good for obvious reasons
I have searched the shops and internet but the docks that can run on batteries all have very weak output.
A friend has one that is supposed to be mains powered but she bought a rechargeable battery pack online and uses that to power it. Anybody heard of these battery packs or know if they are a good idea?
    Any suggestions welcome. Thanks.

The Bose Sound dock is pretty impressive
I've the mains ones but a friend has the chargeable one and the output is pretty much the same

    Hi,

The guy who teaches my Circuits class uses an Amethyst iPig iPod Speaker Dock with an old fashioned Nano for the music. Sound out of it is very loud & perfect to fill a sports hall. Have a look on amazon, think they run about £20 sterling.

Dunno if it runs off the mains or not (sure run a couple of metres of electrical cable & extensions near the pool area, what's the worst that could happen :) )

I agree with CathalDublin, and Second the Bose.

    Really loud and great sound.

Rael, unfortunately the ipig seems to only work on mains. The Bose system seems to be ideal but above budget. Thanks for the replies, I'll keep looking.
