Knee Injury

    Hey all,
I was out cycling last Monday (app. 10 days ago) and as I cycled my knee became gradually sore. I didn't fall or bang it off anything. It got so bad that I had to stop altogether. It felt like there was burning beneath my kneecap, right inside my knee. It's a week and a half later and while it is a bit better, it is still sore, especially when I walk up or down stairs, i.e. whenever the joint is put into the same position as when I was cycling. Some have suggested to me that there may be a problem with the cartillage. Before troubling a hospital or a physio with it, I thought I would ask on here for any advice about what it might be and what my options are?
    Many thanks in advance,
    Mark.

Hi Mark,Im afraid there is nowhere appropriate for your query as it is against site rules to give medical advice in any way, shape or form.Best bit is to go and get it checked out by a professional. It could be something,it could be nothing but you should err on the side of caution and get it checked.
