    Hey,

I'm moving to Dublin next week and I can' take my bike with me, so I'll be needing a new one.

Style of the bike doesn't really matter, can be a road bike or a touring bike or a city bike.

    Requirements:

    - Should be in working condition. I don't have the time to bring it to a cycle repairer.
    - Must have mud guards.
    - Head & tail lights are a +, but not necessary.
    - Preferably one with a luggage rack.

Location: somewhere in Dublin, Lucan, Leixlip.
    Price: max 250€

    PS: I'm 185cm/ 6'1.

Sorry, but it doesn't look like it has mudguards and I'd prefer one with a luggage rack at the back too.

Matty's bike looks ideal for you. The hardest thing when buying a used bike is finding one in the right size especially if you're in any way tall.

    Btw; I don't know Matty.

    Mine's a Guinness Matty

Halfords have this one might suit you. Its cheap its new and with a budget of 250 you should easily be able to get everything you want on it with chance left over. They will even put the stuff on it for you :)

Don't go near a Trax, they're the epitome of the cheapo junk bike. Sorry Gareth, but that's the truth.
OP, google 'dublin bike man'. He's got a whole lot of used but quality bikes from germany. You'll see for yourself.

Oh, that's very good advice. Just checked his website and it looks really interesting. Think I'm going with him.

Do you have any idea if the prices are fixed or can I haggle a bit?

Hey :( I got a trax bike and its alright Il admit its not great but strong bike. I always thought a bike was a bike but like car makes they all have good and bad faults. Like today i went to change gear on my TRAX bike and discovered the whole shifter had come loose, had to cycle uphill on high gear
