Compensation / judgement against the company

i need a bit of advise.

i am currently trying to bring a company to court for compensation for injuries i recieved at there nite club, this happen 3 and a half years ago now and feel like i am still no where !
my solictor seem to have the case on going but nothing seems to be happening.

first the insurance company are saying they have nothing to do with them. secondly then night club has now closed down but the company is still going ( they have a pub also) have now got a letter from the solictor to say he got a letter from there accountant saying the pub has now teased.

my solicter has served the notice of motion on the registered office of the company and has a date for a motion in the high court in the next week or two.

i just seem so confused at this stage. i have had meetings with him and tried to go through it with him but he keeps saying unfortunately there is the danger that i will end up with a judgement against the company that has no assets.

what does this mean? that i will never get anything off them?

would love some advise or if anyone is in a smiliar situation.

    thanks
    Fatty
