I was playing last night for the first time, played a game of domination, few kills, nothing major, next game loads, get a kill and got over a million points for it, then a few more kills, all of a sudden I've ranked up to level 80 for 1 game. Just wondering if anyone else came across anything like this?

Haven't seen it but it sounds just like what happened on mw2. You on xbox or ps3? I've seen people who have prestiged a few times by the look of it already on ps3

Sounds like you entered a hacked lobby by accident.

    It was a hacked lobby.

It's fairly common to stumble across hacked lobbies in COD4, World at War and MW2. But the hacked lobbies that came with those games came fairly late into their life span, MW2 I know a few people myself who were 10th prestige soon after release when in reality it would have taken half a dozen months. Seems a common theme in Treyarch Infinity Ward games these lobbies. Consider yourself fortunate Clareman. Now I don't condone such things (against the charter linking to hacked lobbies obviously) and wouldn't bother looking for one but if I stumbled across a hacked lobby accidentally I'd have no complaints as ranking up in this game seems like a right pain..... and for once in my COD days, I might be prestige 3 times max so to have a couple of extra classes but even that is pushing it.

The thing about ranking up so quickly means I have all the weapons and none of the attachments though, I miss my AGOG sight :(

Well the post was still there.

Anyway I wasn't trying to flame. I like the game, but it seems a bit rushed to me, BF3 is more polished. I've bought both games and found myself getting fed up in MW3 with the amount of hackers already.. Watching Killcams of people tracking me through a wall etc.

So apologies if it comes across as flaming, but it was a genuine opinion, I think BF3 is a much more rewarding experience at the moment.

Last warning? Did I do something else? I already explained that I had no intention of flaming. Why are you warning me again? Ridiculous.

I have both games (BF3 and MW3), I see them as different games entirely and I enjoy both, as with a lot of things it'll depend on what mood I'm in at the time :)

There's a difference between criticism and flaming... that was simple criticism.

I don't really get the flame wars between the BF and CoD series.

I mean, I've always seen the BF series as a tactical shooter, you need to work with team-mates and play the objective, plan out your attacks. Running around lone wolf style will do you no favors.

But CoD to me is just pure craic plain and simple, mindless shooting usually, the type of thing that lets you sit back, relax and have fun shooting everything in sight. It's a great way of blowing off steam.

I dunno, but for me the only thing they have in common is the fact both are in the FPS genre, but as games there very different imo.
