Philips Security Light with Night Sensor problem

    Hi I have a
    Philips Security Light with Night Sensor FWC 110KP, FWC 120KP.

    The light will come on when switched on at daytime or nighttime but will go off after a few minutes. If then switched off at the switch and left for a few minutes and then switched on again it will not come on (at night).
    The light should come on in daylight for a few minutes when switched on and then go off until dark.

    any help appreciated

    To be honest it could be a few things,
    Faulty lamp
    Faulty Photocell
    If it has a starter in it, it could just need a new starter.

    Usually knowing how long you have it, and if its ever worked properly will help narrow things down!
