I think starting a thread about one of Conanchts biggest games in their history deserves a spot here. I know there's already one in the rugby thread.

What we can put here is information about anything that is happening events wise or any news really.

Also, I'm way too excited for this game already.
We have been advised that the Gardaí will close College Road this Saturday 19th November from 16.00 to 21.00 to facilitate the large crowds expected to attend Connacht v Toulouse in the Sportsground

The road will be closed to all traffic from the junction at Lough Atalia to the junction at Forster Street.

Alternative parking can be found at Moneenaghesia School, Galwegians RFC as well as Hynes’ Yard (Merchants Rd) and Galway Harbour carpark.

Best of luck to everybody involved. Hoping Eoin Griffin can keep his form up at centre against Toulouse.

Anybody know if there is a "park n ride" type of a set up in place for the game on Saturday on the east side of town? Access will be bedlam!

Sky have the the exclusive live rights, this match is on the Red Button.

As Sponge Bob said, TG4 have the highlights package.

Does anyone know which footpaths will be closed to pedestrian traffic for example to facilitate parking?

Yeah, the town's going to be a sea of green so you'll get some nice snaps.

There is a park and ride from Galwegians according to today's Advertiser.

Are Toulouse staying in the G hotel? They wont need one if their staying there but i assume they'll be getting a Garda Escort through the traffic if their staying some other place.
I read somewhere that theres a report out that every Munster Heineken cup game is worth 8-10milllion to the Limerick City economy.Ok,so Connacht are'nt nearly as big and dont have as many at their games but even a couple of million would be great.

To hell with that, put them in the Forster Court (or even better Snoozles) and make them walk. Get the Gardai to transport their gear in the paddywagons.
