    Hi Folks,

my Boiler started cutting out and on very frequently 2 days ago. Also there appears to be a leak and this appears to from the burner rather than the oil line. I left white paper under the oil line and burner and it stained under the burner on the right side. The oil enters on the left side.

It was not serviced in a very long time and I knmow I have to do it . Planned for next week. But in the meantime any ideas what it might be and solutions?

    Thanks a lot,

    Eamon

I presume we're talking Riello G3B, they have a hydraulic ram that tends to leak, more so when the burner is running, simple matter of replacement seal, but you will need someone who knows what he is doing, not someone who thinks he does.

Yeah, common problem. Will only squirt out oil when burner fires and jack opens. Once open it normally stops or slows to a weep.
