4 utility bills?

    After receiving absolutely no word about my grant (which was applied for in August), Mum rang into the County Council where my file was sent from the VEC.
    After a speaking to a very rude woman on the phone, she was told that she needed a utility bill for the last 4 years to be sent, not just one. Also, there was no sign of my Junior and Leaving Cert results (which were definitely sent). What's happening here? Do we really need 4 utility bills, despite it only saying one recent one in the checklist I was given? Why are they only telling us that now, when it was sent months ago?

    what do they they need the 4 bills for?

    if it's proof of residency for three of the last 5 years then surely your leaving cert would suffice

    It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

    That's what I thought but they've lost my Leaving Cert and Junior Cert results too.
