Will all transmitters increase power after analogue switch off?
Will more people be able to use indoor aerials?

According to RTÉNL at a Saorview pre-launch Trade Event earlier this year almost all transmitters are running at full power except those close to the border. They will go full power at ASO.

If you are receiving your TV signal from one of the full power transmitters, reception with an indoor aerial won't get any better.

All that being said we still don't know what the actual transmitter ERP's are now or after ASO.

Cairn Hill is the transmitter. I have not set up an aerial yet but I would like to receive HD. Will be based in S Westmeath so I guess an outdoor aerial is essential.
    Thank you for the info.

No but some will(/have already) increase aerial height. However not sure if the timing of these changes will coincide exactly.
