MIPS Based Computers running Linux/GUI

Can anyone recommend a reliable computer system using the MIPS architecture?

I see most distros support MIPS but some run better than others.
Don't mind using the console but would prefer GUI if possible.

I've already tried using QEMU and would prefer hardware based system.

I've been thinking of buying a Cobalt Qube 2 but can anyone recommend something better?

Get yourself a 2nd Hand SGI O2, lovely boxes & they can get gotten for reasonable prices.

If you want to PM me I can refer you to the person I got my Octane from, sound guy when it comes to shipping & after sales help ! He's a very well known guy in the SGI community.

I had an SGI O2 for a few years and they're a nice machine.

Depending on what you want to build on it, do your homework before committing to one.
There are a couple of niggling problems in CPU support for example if you wanted to run linux and gcc on it.
Just saying as you list "reliable" as your primary requirement, and I'd mixed experiences.
