    Hi folks,

I have a leak from under the tap head of one of the taps in the kitchen when tap is in use.

There is just a dribble of water that comes from under the tap head when you have the tap turned on , nothing when the tap is turned off.

My regular plumber is out of commission until new year so am thinking of fixing myself.

Can anyone advise the rough procedure to do this.

    thanks

Have a go. You will be surprised how easy it is. You will get washers in a plumbers suppliers.

or if your tap is new ceramic disc technology

An adjustable spanner works fine. I usually put a bit of paper tape around the teeth of the adjustable spannner to stop it scratching the taps. Plastic tapes slip. although if your careful this should not happen
