im currently working as a kennel hand and am working by my job discription however new things have been added such as cleaning floors and doing dishes that werent discribed when i first applied for the job, do i have to do theses things since it wasnt for what i applied for? also when cleaning the floors my boss whom was giving out to me said even a lad could do it better, is that not a little sexist assuming just because im a woman i can clean floors

Your job duties can change at any time nothing illegal about it unless you have a contract that says otherwise.
re. Cleaning the floors, it's a job, somebody has to do it in the business, you can give out about it but not a lot you can do about it. Plenty of people have done it before you including the boss i'd guess.

You must have been doing a pretty crap job at cleaning the floor or making a bigger job out of it than it was. If you think the comment was sexiest pull them up on it or complain to someone more senior.
