Renault Megane Reversing Lights Problem

    Hi Just noticed that my recversing lights are not working. Checked them out bbut bulbs not blown. Any ideas wat could be wrong? Als o only one rear fog light workin but there is a bulb in the other side again not blown?

    Had a similar problem last year and it was the reversing switch, think it was about 90 plus VAT ish including labour.

    Take a quick look at the fuses.

    Check to see if fog light is connected. Lots of cars will have only one rear fog light that works, despite the fact that there is a lens on the other side as well.

    Checked the manual but there doesn't seem to be a fuse specifically for the reversing lights.. didn;t check them as it was too dark will have alook this evening ..thanks

    Are the lights on the opening section of the boot. If so and if fuses etc and switch all check out, it would be worth checking the wiring at the hinge point.

    Its on the gearbox housing. As far as I know.
