iCloud dual issues

While setting it up I ended up creating a new @me.com email address. This seems to be creating issues as my old or other(?) apple I.D is obviously different. As a result things do not seem to be syncing from Mac to iPhone and iPad which have all the calendars and email accounts setup through older address:confused:

The @me email account you created should be part of your existing Apple ID. Unless when you set up iCloud on one of your devices you mistakenly created a new Apple ID for iCloud instead of using your existing one.

My original I.D for iTunes was @eircom.net

Another related Q. I had a google calander syncing to my iPhone. Will I cloud not recognize that and sync it? Do I have to fully setup the same calander om iPad and MacBook before it will sync?

Sorry, I typed out a longer answer to this but then my iPad's battery died. Short answer is no, iCloud won't sync your google calendars. To do that you would need to import them into iCloud.
