How can I download youtube videos?

Hi there,anyone know how to download youtube videos for free and save them to my computer (Im making a presentation and will not have internet access in the room).

Is there an easy, idiot-proof way to do this?

Just download Real Player.

I would not reccomend installing that junk, plenty of ways to get Youtube content without the need to install that bloated crap! If you use firefox the Video Download Helper addon will do it easily, puts a download button on the Youtube page! This if you use Chrome

I use the video download helper mostly but http://download.cnet.com/YouTube-Downloader/3000-2071_4-10647340.html is really handy for converting the format etc...
