New Build, Compatable Parts?

    Hello. I am building my first computer and i am just wondering if these parts will work together or not.

    Parts=

    CPU - i5-2500k box
    PSU - super flower amazon 550w
    HardDrive - Samsung SpinPoint 1000GB
    ram - 8GB Kit Gskill PC3
    Os - Windows 7 Home premium 64
    MotherBoard - AsRockP67 Pro 3
    Graphics Card - Club 3D Radeon 6870 1024MB
    DVD - Lite-On iHAS124-19 SATA

    my friend, ger34 is building pretty much the exact same computer but i just want to make sure.

    Looks good to me m8, You have a Skt 1155 mobo and a socket 1155 CPU, DDR3 memory (PC3) and your mobo uses DDR3, PSU will be more than capable for that machine.
    You can get your mobos specs here.
    Also the build requires an ATX compatible case

    Yeah its a full ATX mobo so don't get a mATX, Mini ITX etc case, an obvious thing but could be overlooked!
