    Hi guys,

There's a lot of talk online of excessive battery problems and bugs with the 4s. i'm interested in taking the plunge but am just wondering how many people have experienced these kind of preblems? I'm coming from a Galaxy S2 and want a bug free experience. Is everybody experiencing problems or is it a minority making more noise than the happy customers with little or no problems? Any opinions are welcome. Thanks guys. Just want to be sure as I'm buying sim free and it's a pretty big investment!

Happy with mine. Battery doesn't last as long as my iPhone 4, but I expect this to improve with software updates.

Have mine 1 week now, my first smartphone, and am like a kid at xmas! The functionality is better than I imagined it would be. The only minor quibble I have is that I have to charge it every night but thats by no means a deal breaker. I can only recommend it.

In fairness that's a smart phone thing. Because it has a big screen it uses up a lot more power

Have it since Thursday last week and have to say really happy with it.
Speed difference is noticeable, much faster, smoother in and out of apps.
Camera great, siri good fun (and useful in the car)
Overall very happy considering I wasn't going to bother upgrading.
    Glad I did.
Battery life is a worry at the moment though but as Vinny says, it should be sorted in a release or so.

It's better than my 3GS so that's all I really want from an upgrade.

I expect my next one to be the better than the 4S and so forth. If it's not then I'll whinge.

Cheers for the info so far folks. I'm in two minds now. So far over 63% happy/satisfied seems ok.

Could it be a case of a particular batch of the phones being particularily bad on battery I wonder?

I'm still leaning towards getting the phone, although I'm a relatively heavy user - maybe 3-4hours screen on time a day - and part of the reason I'm ditching the Galaxy 2 is the bad battery. With 3-4hrs screen time and bluetooth on could I expect a full day? I realise it varies depending on other usage but any info/experience would be appreciated.

From what I hear, the bad battery complaints are mostly due to the recent software update, as it is 3gs and iph4 users that also have this problem.

I've had them all except the 3G and I'm very happy with the upgrade. It's definitely faster than the iph 4 from texting to opening apps. iCloud and ios5 have made such an improvement anyway.

Camera is as good as any decent 8mega pixel I've seen. I'm snapping all the time.

As far as the battery life is concerned I'm not concerned at all. It's a smart phone that does practically everything and anyone expecting to get over 2 days from one charge are being unrealistic. I guess though it's highly proportional to how much u use it.
Just charge it every night and your fine.

had it since launch day, with almost no problems. after about 4 full charges battery is as good as if not better than my 3gs. depending on usage i'm getting between 28 -42 hours from a single charge.

A combo of both, right now I'm at 72% with 2h 14m usage and 10h 48 m standby. That's with push mail on two exchange accounts and wifi left on.

Do people that have upgraded from a 4 think its really worth it though??

Due an upgrade soon but debating whether its worth another 18 month contract for it.

I'm at 25% usage 4 hours 46 minutes. Standby 14 hours. Not sure if this is good or bad. I came from a blackberry curve which I had to charge every night.
