Serious net book issue. refusing to boot. Help!!!

    Hi,
    I have a Acer One with a Atom N450 processor and I Gb memory running Ubuntu. This morning the power to the net book was interuppted and it is now refusing to boot.

    When the netbook is turned on. You can hear the drive spin for a second or so, AND nothing. It stops spinning and nothing happens. No flashing cursor, no spinning hard drive nothing. Can anyone help?

    Sounds like a very common problem with these machines. Just google acer aspire one wont boot and see all the solutions.

    Hey, thanks for that. I work up thsi morning in a serious panic. Unfortunatly that didnt fix it. So back to the retailer.
