what does "IKC REG" actually mean

    ok i understand that it means irish kennel club but as a buyer purchasing a dog and for the dog what does the IKC actually stand for ?

    to be honest it means sweet feck all except ya can trace the lineage of your dog, but i know lads who used to pass around papers so it may not be a true reading of your dogs history. They are a toothless bunch when it comes to regulating their policy.

    also means if you want to run your dog in any field trial comps you can,
    basically it's a log book for your dog especially if it is microchipped
